The thing about mascaras is that people are not comfortable to try it at store. But it is one product that you just have to try it one time and you know exactly whether you like it. Most prestige brand mascaras cost around $16 and up. It is frustrating to pay that much to figure out in one application that “this one is a no no”. I love what I bought! Mascara is one product that reviews are biased. You cannot really read reviews and conclude that mascara that most people love will be the one that you also love. Listen to your lash! FYI – My eyelashes scream for length, volume and curl. You can compare the size of products in the kit in these images.

– 0.002 oz Hourglass Cosmetics 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner (Full size $16)
Encapsulated in a 1.5MM mechanical pencil, this liner offers precision accuracy and ease of application. No pot, no brush, no clean-up required. Just two clicks to create a variety of eye looks that resist transfer for extended wear. Do not dispense more than two clicks—product is delicate and may break.
IcanGWP: This liner is in my to-buy list. It was a great addition to this set! It is indeed fine and delicate. It did a great job for inner liner and all detail application. I will definitely repurchase this product.

IcanGWP: Product description from Marc Jacobs Beauty is always very interesting! I can’t try them all because all these tiny tube mascaras will dry out quick. I will update this post once I tried more product.

IcanGWP: The review score for this one is not as good as other mascaras in the Lashstash Kit on Sephora site. No doubt I am glad to try it out before buying a full size one. I like their packaging. There’s something about black and red that’s clicked. For those who are waiting for NARS Steven Klein collection, it is available now at Sephora this week.

IcanGWP: It is only available in double-ended mascara. For prestige brand Lash fiber Mascara or mascara base, they do their job of adding fuller lash. The problem about all fiber mascaras is their weight. Two coats of mascaras make eyelashes not keeping their curl.
This mascara is like nothing I have seen. Imagine black fur ball! The wand is dry (not a bad thing however) and is covered with very fine fiber. I would say around 5mm long fiber. Dry application mascara. IT IS NOT A FALSE LASH LOOK. Not one of those natural look mascara either. Fiber is weightlessly compared to most wet mascara base or fiber. See it by yourself at your local store! It is also fun to try out this fiber mascara with regular mascaras!
– 0.01 oz Tarte picture perfect eyelash curler (Full size $9 – $10?)
An ergonomic eyelash curler, which has easy grip handles and a purple silicone pad for just the right amount of pressure to curl lashes evenly. The curved angle and wide mouth suits all eye shapes without pinching or crimping. Unlike other eyelash curlers that require multiple squeezes, you only need one squeeze with Picture Perfect for the perfect curl.
IcanGWP: It is only available as a duo set for $18. People love this eyelash curler! Many reviewers said it is the best eyelash curler for them. I am always a big fan of Shiseido Eyelash Curler $19 and a replacement pad is available for $6. First, the handles are not like most eyelash curlers. It is easy and efficient. Its rubber is the softest one I’ve ever tried. I like it but I will wait a little bit longer once the rubber has been used for a while before I make more conclusion.
– 0.17 oz Too Faced Cosmetics Better Than Sex Mascara (Full size $23)
Inspired by the curves of a woman’s body, the hourglass-shaped brush was designed with extra stiff bristles to maximize the performance of this carbon black, collagen-fueled formula. One coat and lashes are full and defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled, and dramatic. Three coats help you achieve the most intense, black, multidimensional lashes possible.
IcanGWP: For prestige brand single application mascara, this is one of my favorite! It adds a good combination of curl, volume and length.
– 0.08 oz Blinc Mascara (Full size $26) Available in 6 shades.
Blinc Mascara is the original tube-technology mascara. It’s invented to form tiny water-resistant “tubes” around your lashes for maximum amplification and hold, rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, the tubes bind to your lashes and don’t run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.
Blinc Mascara has been clinically tested to be non-irritating, making it ideal for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, and active people in search of a mascara whose look, hold, and ease of removal is without compromise.
IcanGWP: The tube is really slim. If the wand is really slim too it will be a great lower lash mascara for me. Good to know for swabbing, it has the plastic wrap.
– 0.06 oz Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils (Full size $32) Available in 5 shades. Also, Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Water Proof (Full size $32) which is out of stock now.
Flaunt bigger-than-life lashes when you brush on this mascara from Yves Saint Laurent. This non-drying formula is enriched with B5 pro-vitamin, which deepens, darkens, and leaves lashes look instantly thicker. The nylon fiber brush builds luscious volume, coating lashes from root to tip for a bold false-lash look.
IcanGWP: This is the highest price in the kit for full size!
– 0.1 oz Benefit Roller Lash Mascara (Full size $24, Travel size $12)
Bye-bye, eyelash curler! Roller Lash not only lifts and super-curls, but this instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours, is easy to remove, and contains provitamin B5 and serine, known for their lash-conditioning benefits. For super curl and length, apply Roller Lash first to curl and lift your lashes. Then layer They’re Real! lengthening mascara on top.

IcanGWP: I wish that I am one of those mascara expert that can LOOK at the wand and tell exactly if this mascara worth trying. People who can do that are awesome. This product has an interesting wand and I would love to see the result.
– 0.20 oz Buxom Lash Mascara (Full size $19)
Transform lashes with this ultra-volumizing mascara. The vitamin-enriched, clump-resistant formula deepens, darkens, and thickens while the curvy, hourglass-shaped brush evenly coats lashes from root to tip.
Final Thought
Pros: First of, there is no brow mascaras that is great. I grabbed this one right when it is available. I’ve been waiting for so long for any good mascara sets. It is rare! For Sephora Lashstash 2015 contains 12 products $45 (a $127 value) which means I pay around $4 for each product. This set will save me from buying mascaras that I will only tried it once and never touch it again. I will use all of them.
Cons: The thing about mascara set is that travel size mascara wands might not be as good as full size wands and tiny amount of liquid may not work well as full size mascaras. It would be super if they include a voucher for full size product. Don’t you think?
