Forget about my good days from Sephora Play box. Sephora showed a NARS lipstick on the February box page to tease everyone. My Play! by Sephora February 2017 Beauty Box doesn’t have it. Instead of the NARS sample, I received Bite Beauty Multistick – $9.88 value. As it turns out, I really like some items in the box including the devine and smooth satin bag, that soothes me a little bit from Sephora’s personalization software.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream Review | Full size $30
A clinically-proven eye cream that instantly de-puffs and reduces dark circles.
IcanGWP Review: The ingredients are great – 49 of them can you imagine? It contains every awesome antioxidant and goody one can put in a jar. Reminds me of a Clinique serum that they discontinued. No fancy patented ingredients that have no proof – I like that. Plus, no fragrance and no adding dye. It contains shea butter and smells like it a wee… bit. It is an orange cream that is surprisingly not heavy at all. It contains silica for cosmetic purpose too. This product makes the under eye area brighten immediately and will help in long term as well. I put it all over the face, love it. I only wish they gave me more. It doesn’t clog pores or break me out at all. Also, I want to point out that it will add a subtle gold glowing look (like most highlighters). Four stars from the average Sephora review.
Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy Review | Full size $22
This moisture-rich gloss is infused with Too Faced’s bestselling Lip Injection formula to create the long-term, plumped lip look. Infused with botanicals like jojoba and avocado oil, it helps soften and smooth your lips.
Precautions:
-You may experience a slightly intense tingle that can last up to five to 10 minutes.
-Apply only within the perimeter of lips.
-If applied on skin, a temporary redness may occur.
-If any discomfort is present, remove and discontinue use.
-Keep away from children.
IcanGWP Review: This sample size is quite generous. The wand is very small and narrow. The layer of sponge is a bit too thin. The shade I received is Milkshake. It’s almost sheer with a hint of nude glossy finish in it. It smells weird, sort of like ginger. There’s a lovely gold glitter that is very fine and reflects light beautifully. It helps to make lips appear fuller. It is sticky.
This lip plumper caused an intense stinging feeling. I wiped it off after a few minutes. If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure you test it out before apply it directly on your lips. Please don’t take my experience solely, it may be personal and we are all different. I’m not a fan of lip plumper products and I am biased here. Some reviewers on the Sephora site said it worked if you can handle the sting or burn. Their lips plumped beautifully. The average review is 3.6.
Bite Beauty Multistick Review | Full size $24
A multistick that applies like a cream and wears like a powder for weightless color application—just apply with your finger or a brush on the eyes, lips, and cheeks.
With 35 percent powder in each Multistick bullet, this silicone-free formula creates a soft focus finish that’s blendable, breathable, and buildable. It features universal shades for the eyes, lips, and cheeks that compliment all skintones and are formulated to use anywhere on the face.
IcanGWP Review: Bite Beauty Multistick sample is in shade Cashew. This product is Sephora exclusive. It is a truly multi-task item. It is a lot less creamy compared with Nars multiple. There’s no silicone in this product, oily and acne prone skin may give it a try. I feel that the shade and the concept is sophisticated and it works brilliantly. As a lipstick, it has a nice velvet finish. It appears a lot less brown-ish than it appears. The greatest thing about it is that it filled any imperfection on the lips like miracle. It’s hydrating. As a blush, I applied it directly on my cheeks. It is very easy to work with and it’s dry matte. It adds a healthy and natural flush to my zombie winter skin. Finally, as an eyeshadow, the shade blends well with my peachy/brown/gold makeup.
SEPHORA COLLECTION LashCraft Length & Volume Mascara Review | Full size $12
A jet-black mascara with a unique two-sided, flat paddle wand. This mascara does not require chemical makeup removers. Simply splash with warm water for an easy return to au naturale lashes!
Suggested Usage:
-Rotate the brush to the flat side, and sweep upward from root to tip to create a dramatic lengthening and lifting effect.
-Continue to build until desired effect is achieved.
-After applying mascara flip to comb side of wand and sweep through lashes for cleaner length, definition, and volume.
-For additional volume, start at the lash root and wiggle brush through lashes repeatedly.
IcanGWP Review: I can’t help it, I am in love with this mascara and it’s only $7 – $12! This mascara is a nice dupe of several high-end lengthening mascaras. It’s so small and very difficult to play with it. After 2-coat applications, my lashes appear feathery, curled and lengthened. One of the strengths is it will not group your lashes together. I like the paddle wand. It is a little bit short and not easy to wiggle. I highly recommend sweeping upward like they suggest. Please note that several reviewers from the Sephora site seem to dislike this product because it runs into their eyes and is flaky.
CLINIQUE Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer Reivew |Full size $29.50 (the blue tube)
A lightweight, 24/7 hydrator that provides matte moisturization, instantly blurs imperfections, and preps for makeup.
IcanGWP Review: I am not sure how to explain the texture of this product. It has a heavy cream texture that is so light, almost like gel-like light. It will temporary blur imperfections, and prep for makeup. This product is like a moisturizer and primer in one. It’s definitely one of the strong multitasking moisturizers in the market. There’s a lot of filming agent ingredients (may feel like silicone) so I would try to get a sample before purchasing a full-size.
TOM FORD Private Blend Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum Review | Full size $225 – $305

IcanGWP Review: The scents are made with well-choosen ingredients and results in a very long lasting scent. I think it’s important to have a nice wardrobe of fragrances that suit different moods. This scent is a well balanced of floral, citrus and bergamot. I tended to say no to citrusy perfume but this one is an exception. It is extremely chic and refreshing scent.
Quick Take:
Sephora has been in the beauty subscription service for quite some time. We are crazy about their box. I liked everything but the lip plumping product. Do you want the sample from “repeating brands” or “new brands”?
