Let’s jump to the goodies!
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask Review | Full size $58
Tata Harper Skincare Resurfacing Mask enhances your skin’s radiance and improves its appearance by eliminating dull and blemished skin cells.
IcanGWP review: The average review is 4.3. This lightweight gel is fresh, floral and refreshing. This mask/exfoliant targets oily/combination skin (not recommend for sensitive skin or rosacea). I leave it for 10 minutes. When it is dried, it’s tightening the skin (contains kaolin). My pores refined and skin felt clean the next day. Many reviewers love it as the spot treatment.
CLEAN Reserve Sel Santal | Full size $95 Sephora Exclusive
Inspired by an unwavering dedication to beauty, boldness, and inner-strength, Sel Santal blends crisp mandarin leaves with bright bergamot over a heart of rich salted fig and hazelnut cream. In the base, decadent amber and opulent sandalwood round out the scent. The result is a fragrance that is seductively luxe with an alluring warmth.
Notes: Mandarin Leaves, Bergamot, Nutmeg Tonic, Iris, Salted Fig, Violet, Hazelnut Cream, Sandalwood, Decadent Amber, Styrax, Rose Musk.
Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask Review | Full size $58
A conditioning treatment made from 100% natural, organic ingredients that injects roots with life and shine, promoting scalp health and preserving color vibrancy.
IcanGWP review: The mask has bouncy mousse-like texture. It smells fresh, bright and clean. Something different. It is lovely on my hair. The product is really concentrated. I can feel a thin layer of product on my hair even after it rinsed off. My hair really is stunning soft. Unquestionably, it’s an effective way to serve your dull thirsty hair with this magical mask.
Grande Cosmetics GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper in clear | Full size $27 *
Infused with Volulip™ and hyaluronic acid, GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper instantly improves lip volume in three to five minutes, adding a pop of lip-boosting color while hydrating dry areas.
MILK MAKEUP Blur Stick Review | Full size $36
A colorless, oil- and silicone-free primer to blur the look of imperfections on all skin tones.
IcanGWP Review: This stick works differently on people; the reviews are split. The ivory stick has a lovely light lemon-like scent. The texture is dry like deodorant. It instantly takes away the shine, produces a matte finish. I like how I feel at my dry area and it helps minimize fine lines, bumps, or pores a bit. It doesn’t blur everything, it helps make skin look a little more even. You can’t cover them up like runny/creamy concealer or primer with this thick paste. It piles if I swiped too much.
In terms of oil control, I stopped using it after three days and realized it did help a lot. It will be a very powerful piece of makeup if it came in a squeeze tube with small tip. I experimented using toothpicks to get a tiny amount and filled my pores, it works brilliantly (although it took forever to finish your makeup). It broke me out a bit. Acne prone skin may try to add an oil-based makeup remover and extra BHA exfoliant.
trèStiQue Highlight + Perfect Multipurpose Stick in Maldives Luminescent Review | Full size $34
A beautiful multipurpose highlighter with a built-in sponge for an instant, fresh glow.
This Highlight Stick contains fine, delicate pearl pigments that leave skin with a subtle yet sexy luminescent glow.
IcanGWP Review: Many people love this item in their box and a lot don’t. It is an interesting pencil cream-gel spot highlighter. The full size product comes with a blending sponge. This product intends to achieve real life subtle radiance and glow. It glides on so easy and adds dew, brightens skin while leaving just a touch of luminous gold shimmer.
I tried my upper cheeks, down the bridge of my nose, under my browbone, the inner corners of my eyes and above the bow of the lip. It is gorgeous like Nikkietutorials or Jaclyn Hill, goddess glowy like that. I love the gold shimmer but I find the clear gel part leaves a greasy look for my combination skin. I’ll keep this item for winter months. For now, it works great for the inner corners of my eyes.
I think I will try to add it on top on my lips, since it look really moisturizing. How are you using it? Any preference?
Quick Take:
I like my May Play by Sephora beauty box. It has the Milk blur stick that I wanted to try, luxurious Rahua mask and trèStiQue Highlight that works brilliantly to brighten up my eyes. It’s now been one year since I subscribed to Play! by Sephora and I’ve been happy with stunning samples they curated for only $10 a month.
I like the customization concept. It is truly distinctive now. We used to get four similar samples in every box but now it’s only two samples that are the same. Shh …. I find out that I receive similar boxes as one other beauty box blogger. All boxes are the same (please don’t ask who)! There IS a pattern. Have you found someone who receives similar boxes like you? Was it me?
I hope you enjoyed the post! Check out my Sephora Play! Beauty Boxes review posts here.
