I picked up this Walmart Hair Favorites Box: Naturally Inspired on sale for $7.99 when I was travelling (no Walmart super store nearby). I’m in LOVE with the masks. First of all, I am looking to try new haircare, which I haven’t done in a while, and I’ve heard good reviews on these items. Next, I love the fact that several items are sulfate and paraben free – or very natural ingredients.

FYI – I have fine straight hair that is oily sometimes and it’s pretty healthy with no frizz to start with. It’s lackluster and can be healthier. I regularly add some baby shampoo like Noodle and Boo to alternate with my regular hair care items. I’m pretty excited to try the natural products from this box!

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack Review ($1.95)

IcanGWP Review It’s Phthalate-free, butylparaben-free, formaldehyde donor-free, formaldehyde-free, nonylphenol ethoxylate free, propylparaben-free, Sulfate-free, dye-free, aluminum-free, contains coconut oil – beautiful formula and also so gentle! The creamy coconut protein pack smells divine. I did two deep conditioning treatments on half of my hair length and it’s about 3/4 left in the pack. This product works wonders, my hair is amazingly glossy, bounces beautifully and is ultra smooth after one application. There is a very obvious difference and my lackluster hair is healthier. I expect it to work great for long term results. Cold-press coconut oil is my secret weapon for a monthly hair mask. But it’s a little too messy and I sort of smell like a coconut bomb. This is my favorite item in the kit and I will repurchase! It’s super affordable.

HASK Orchid & White Truffle Moisture Rich Deep Conditioner Review ($1.77)

IcanGWP Review: The thick conditioner has an amazing aroma. I walked out from bathroom asking myself if this is a Diptyque or HASK. The scent is like it contains very concentrated floral fragrance oil, but unfortunately the intense scent didn’t stay on my hair very much. My hair looks silky, shiny and very soft. It feels great and light. I love that it’s sulfate and paraben free!

IcanGWP Review: These products are Phthalate-free, paraben-free, Sulfate-free, dye-free, contains tea tree oil, aluminum-free, cruelty-free, certified gluten free, paraben-free – very nice for natural shampoo! They have bold scents that are relaxing and felt ice cold… It didn’t do much on my hair for summer. But I will keep this pair for colder months when my scalp is dry. I’m curious to see the power of tea tree. Also good if you work in a scent-free building.

IcanGWP Review: These gel-like products are nice and have gentle scent that doesn’t linger – actually no scent left on my hair. It will be a nice natural hair duo to try if you have very dry and damaged hair. They left my hair too greasy in summer months in a few days.

Final Thoughts

This natural hair care box from Walmart cleans my hair very well without striping the necessary things like good oils and nutrients my hair holds. I honestly think that they are not a superb option compared to Oribe, Serge Normant, Asience or Phyto but they’re affordable options and are healthy. The scalp is a big complex part of our skin and I like to alternate my products to avoid build up.
