There are NO tools, body nor bath products, yeah! There are two beauty tale boxes you could get this month – Spirit and Fantasy. October Glossybox is my most favorite box so far. I received the spirit box, let’s find out below why it’s my fave!

GLOSSYBOX US — The box looks like old time book. Beautiful isn’t it? The ‘Glossybox’ part is not so obvious so I can reuse the box for cute storage.

This vegan and cruelty-free lipstick will make you feel bold and stunning – just like its studded packaging. Its creamy, cushiony, and highly pigmented formula will give your lips the treatment they deserve.

Deluxe Sample Worth $14

IcanGWP review: KVD lipstick has a Gothic case with yummy vanilla-cotton candy scent. I can’t wear most lipsticks under face coverings!! I’ve turned to lip stain recently. This KVD matte lipstick works great for this purpose. It leaves minimum marks on face masks. The lipstick is a little sheer and smooth.

For the shade, Lovecraft, it’s very subtle — mauve pink nude. It has a beautiful satin finish and is just slightly brighter than my natural lip color. I can draw it to exceed my lip lines and make my lips appear fuller. It doesn’t smudge. It’s a beautiful shade for winter months. It lasted through everything but not hot coffee. Around 5 hours wear time for me before it starts to fade. However, I’m not a matte lipstick fan, my lips feel dry.

Earth Harbor AURORA Superfood Luminance Ampoule in full size worth $32

IcanGWP review: Look at its scientifically-proven ingredients, superfood indeed, right?! It’s really packed with high concentrations of active ingredients. It’s part oil part serum so it’s so much easier to wear under makeup. The texture is mid-weight. The luscious grape aroma is divine. It’s nothing like a perfume smell, just really clean.  I haven’t heard of this woman-owned, vegan, gluten-free, made in USA and cruelty-free brand Earth Harbor before. I love their ocean greens’ theme – always love algae.

They recommend a few drops as a skin booster but I applied it as a serum (why not). I felt a little sticky on the skin. I only used it a few times and don’t see long term results yet but there is no breakout. My skin felt indulgent and healthy.

Ciate London Loose Translucent Setting Powder | Full size $22

Finish off your makeup masterpiece with this finely milled setting powder. Ultra-blendable and lightweight, buff effortessly onto your skin without any cakiness or creases for long-lasting wear.

Deluxe Sample Worth $18.98

IcanGWP review: This talc-free setting powder has great oil absorbing bamboo extract and hyaluronic acid goodie. The powder color is white, oderless, feels light and silky. I applied it with a big buffing brush and it provided an instant soft-focus look. It brightens the skin while adding no glow, dew nor sparkle. I find the texture is more like a fine mineral powder. The translucent powder goes on light and creates a flawless finish. It helps my makeup last without any breaking. I absolutely recommend this product for oily skin because it provides excellent oil control. The result is a fresh matte look. I tried it with Becca undereye concealer to bake and set makeup… don’t like it that way.

ONA New York Spotlight Radiant Glow Gel Mask in Full Size Worth $9

Formulated with plant ingredients native to Russia and North East Asia, this refining hydrogel mask will even out complexion, rid of impurities, and restore a youthful glow. Its comfortable fit and non-slip quality makes it perfect for anyone on the move!

IcanGWP review: The mask is targeted at stressed, dull, irritated skin – with Niacinamide and Willow Bark Extract to reduce environmental damage and restore youthful glow. Plus, Centella Asiatica and Tea Tree Oil soothes stressed skin and evens out skin tone. The gel mask comes in two pieces – one for the top and another for the bottom. It has a very light floral scent that dissipates after a few minutes. If you find masking in winter is difficult because it’s cold, then you are with me. Even if my skin needs it most during winter months. This gel mask amazingly solves this problem. It doesn’t feel cold, maybe because the gel gradually releases the treatment and my skin is bouncy, brightened and plumped! It’s perfect to leave it on while you move around doing your thing as they claimed.

Generation Clay Ultra-Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask | Full size $49.99

Packed with superfruit davidson plum, desert lime, bilberry, and aloe vera, this gentle version of skin-exfoliating alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) rejuvenates dull, tired skin while lightening dark circles and pigmentation.

Verdict:

I think that Glossybox nailed it this month. The products themselves are nothing short of specitacular for $18. I am totally thrilled by Earth Harbor AURORA Superfood Luminance Ampoule. I think that anything that can help strengthen our skin is worth trying. The two makeup items are pretty, versatile and festive.
