When you spend $500 at Ulta.com or Ulta stores in a calendar year (total qualified spending between January and December of a calendar year), you’ll automatically be enrolled in the Ulta Platinum Status program. For every $1 you spend as an Ulta Platinum Status member, you earn 1.25 points. Your membership will be upgraded automatically once you meet the annual spending threshold. Every month Ulta has “Ulta Platinum Perks Day” which is normally the first Monday of that month. You’ll get huge Platinum/Diamond exclusive free gifts and discounts. They are pretty impressive as you can see, the perks from two months (in my haul post here).

The highest status at Ulta is Diamond. Spend over $1,200 per year for Diamond.
What do you get when you become diamond at Ulta?
Diamond Members enjoy additional benefits and promotional offers such as: points that do not expire while a Diamond Member, a 50% higher base earning rate (1.5 points for every one dollar spent), an annual birthday gift (currently, a coupon good for $10 off on a single purchase), Diamond welcome gift and more.
How do I redeem Ulta points?
You can redeem points on any in-store or online purchase. While Online: Make sure you are logged in and your Ultamate Rewards member ID is on your My Account page of ulta.com. When you finish adding all products to your cart, proceed to checkout and provide your shipping information. When you get to the payment page, find the field at the bottom of the page where you can select how many points you want to redeem. Make your selection and proceed through checkout!
