This year, we discover the collection’s newest candle dedicated to Milan with its sunlit balconies brimming with flowers along neo-classical façades. This year, Milan joins the City Candle Collection.

Diptyque Milan Classic candle – Geranium, cardamom, woody notes. Sunlit balconies brimming with flowers along neoclassical façades. The Milan candle unfolds flowery geranium notes, elevated by woody, spicy accords. Its decorative graphics evoke the windows of the city’s light-drenched, flower-laden façades. Pure Milanese elegance, captured in a scented candle.

Diptyque New York Classic Candle – Cedar wood, Vetiver and Patchouli. Explore New York City’s golden age of alluring speakeasies and the city’s nightlife. Notes of cedar wood, vetiver and patchouli heightened by mysterious incens e are a scented echo of these legendary and contemporary sights. The design is a nod to the Art Deco movement, which to this day continues to shape the city. Like light flaring in the dark, these motifs trace a pattern in gold across the midnight blue jar.

Diptyque Tokyo Classic Candle – Cypress, Incense. Fond memories. The Tokyo candle evokes a stroll down paths lined with cypresses. Soothing incense aromas waft from a nearby temple. The design of the jar celebrates the incomparable artistry of Japanese gardens – the harmony and serenity found in Tokyo parks such as Yoyogi Koen and Shinjuku Gyoen.

Diptyque Paris Classic Candle – Chypre, Lavender. The spirit of Parisian chic weaves its magic in the Paris candle: a mysterious chypre accord lifted by a fragrant lavender facet. The design presents a bird’s eye view of the city. Depicted in shades of blue and grey, the emblematic rooftops are illuminated in radiant pink gold to evoke reflections from the last rays of sunlight playing on the Seine.

Diptyque Pékin (Beijing) Classic Candle – Sandalwood, Magnolia, Green Tea. The Pékin (Beijing) candle pays tribute to this ancient city – its architecture, its history – in an elegant and mysterious woody floral accord lifted by aromatic notes of green tea. The design evokes the majestic rooftops of imperial temples, and magnolias blooming in splendour within the Dajue Temple. Against a backdrop of antique red, a golden dragon rears up – a symbol of Chinese Emperors, recalling the elongated shape of the Great Wall.

Diptyque Londres (London) Classic Candle – Heliotrope, Lilac, Juniper, Hyacinth. Columbia Road, the day the Flower Market opens. From the Londres (London) candle wafts a fragrant melange of heliotrope, lilac, juniper and hyacinth warmed by a hint of spice. The floral motif of the design is an ode to the sophistication of English wallpapers – in particular, the pattern used in Diptyque’s historic Westbourne Grove boutique.

Diptyque Beverly Hills Classic Candle – White Flowers, Mint, Lemon. Luxuriant gardens planted with palm trees and bouquets of white flowers. The Beverly Hills candle blends intense freesia notes with mint and lemon. The brightly-coloured psychedelic design celebrates the Martinique wallpaper made famous, even iconic, by the Beverly Hills Hotel. A luminous salute to the beauty of the West Coast.

Diptyque Miami Classic Candle – Magnolia, Lemon. Interlude in the sun. The Miami candle combines the delicate scent of magnolia flowers with delicious notes of lemon in a nod to Florida’s famous dessert, Key Lime Pie. Taking its cue from the visual universe of Miami, the design features broad banana tree leaves and tiny parasols. A bird’s eye view of this luminous stopover.

Diptyque Hong Kong Classic Candle – Orchid, Vanilla. In an ode to a flower that has become the city’s emblem, the Hong Kong candle highlights in full the charms of the Bauhinia Blakeana orchid. A floral-vanilla accord enveloped in rice steam. The design celebrates nature reclaiming its rights: a climbing orchid spreading across dizzyingly high buildings, draping the city in notes of colour and fragrance.

Diptyque Seoul Classic Candle – Hibiscus, Incense. A striking contrast (launched 2023). The Séoul (Seoul) candle conjures up an effervescent city where hibiscus flowers bloom in their thousands, the notes of these national emblems mingling with incense from the temples. The design reflects the city’s modern architecture. At night, Seoul thrills to the rhythm of countless lights, the walls of its buildings adorned with this elegant flower.

Diptyque Shanghai Classic Candle – Osmanthus, Green Tea. Illuminating the full beauty of the tea ceremony, the Shanghai candle blends delicately scented osmanthus flower notes with those of green tea. The deep red of the design reflects the beauty and sophistication of the ornaments, gardens and lanterns in the Huxinting Tea House – the oldest in Shanghai.

Diptyque Berlin Classic Candle – Linden Trees, Honey. A walk down the celebrated Unter den Linden. The Berlin candle diffuses the potent, intoxicating fragrance of blooming linden trees with light traces of honey. The arty, colourful design captures the creative soul of the city in a tribute to one of its emblematic monuments, the Brandenburg Gate.
