My beauty.com Trina Turk pouch unboxing and mini-review
I received my GWP below and it is still offering at beauty.com. The first one is 17pc Trina Turk sample-filled pouch. I got 2 tea samples so it is actually 18pc GWP for me. I like this pink Trina Turk pouch very much. There is a little clear part that allow you to see what inside. It is also lightweight allows me to use when I am travelling.
First item, I want to try it so much.
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain, Forever Peach Full-size product is $25. It is tiny but color is so lovely. I like it as a very moisturizing lip balm. It doesn’t give anstinging and that’s good (no harmful ingredient added). To be honest, it gives funny feeling to put this tiny lip stain on my cheeks. Also, as a cheek stain, not much color is shown on my fair skin. I like that it is a multitasking product more than anything but I would look for other shades.
MDSolarSciences Mineral Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 50 -$30. This is also a product that I’d love to try before buying. This is the claim: A lightweight, “barely there” broad spectrum sunscreen the provides maximum protection and leaves a matte finish. Skin Type: All skin types including acne/rosacea.
It doesn’t have any smell. Much watery and lightweight than most sunscreen I have tried (great). Ingredients are superb. It doesn’t adding shine, cast or greasy at all. There are two more questions left: Can I remove it well with my cleansing cloth? and Will it break me out? Long term game changing experiment.
Marula Pure Beauty Oil -$58. I am excited to try a new type of oil in winter. Their claim: scientifically validated facial oil, with 60% more antioxidants than the leading Argan Oil.
Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy, Avocado $16 – $32. Claim: Infused with macadamia nut oil, shea butter, avocado butter, and basil and olive extracts, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application. I am please to try a new hand cream. This one smell exactly like Basil. Good hand cream with lotion-like texture.
WEI Kakadu Plum Brightening Sugar Mask $60. This one and Murad are the most expensive ones (not counting perfume). Direction:
1. Peel off the foil from the top of a pod.
2. Brush mask on clean face, avoiding the eye area.
3. After 3-5 minutes, rinse well with warm water.

This body perfector color is brown, no shimmer and no smell. Once apply, it blends well and it seems like the brown color is disappeared. It added smoothness and subtle tan to my fair skin.
H2O PlusAquafirm+ Micro-Collagen Eye Cream $38. The claim:

Paula’s Choice CLINICAL Clinical KP Treatment Cloths $32. I wish I get Paula’s Choice RESIST Vitamin C Spot Treatment (as shown in the Trina Turk description page) instead of the KP cloths. I will gift this one.
LORAC POREfection Mattifying Face Primer $32. The claim: This oil, fragrance and paraben-free primer is infused with Salicylic Acid and antioxidants of Vitamins A, C and E to help skin appear healthy, youthful and radiant. The skin-perfecting formula helps to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines for a silky-smooth, poreless-looking, matte finish.
Ingredient list is promising and it contains Salicylic Acid which helps exfoliate skin effectively. It is a light to medium coverage primer (or I didn’t use much enough). No fragrance, no color. Matte finish and no dewy added. It holds make up well all day.
IcanGWP – this primer is colorless like Smashbox. It provides light to medium coverage. Nice smooth and easy to use.
bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum, Barely NUDE $18. The claim:

IcanGWP – nothing to not like about this product. Ingredients are superb. It is not creamy like most cream eye shadow I have tried. No crease all day. The color Barely nude is indeed nude though. I use it more like a primer.
