111SKIN Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask ($32 value)| Full size $160 (pack of 5)
The advanced gel structure of the Bio Cellulose Mask in combination with potent ingredients, works in a powerful synergy to brighten, firm and optimise moisture levels.
Paraben, paraffin, silicone and sulphate free.
Directions for use:
- Use the mask twice a week
- After cleansing and toning your skin, remove the mask from protective films on both sides, and leave on your face for a minimum of 20 minutes.
- For extra rejuvenation and healing, store the mask in the fridge and use after prolonged sun exposure or extreme weather conditions.
IcanGWP Review: The 111Skin cellulose mask is a clear gel-like material mask that has no scent although it contains a tiny amount of fragrance. The clear mask has two protective films and soaks in a clear non-sticky liquid. The gel like structure of the mask and its small amount of alcohol content instantly cooled my skin. The result is a well-hydrated skin and felt so plumped (not as much as the Sisley mask in this bag reviewed here). The company claimed – that the fibres of the masks are 500x finer than tissue masks, thus it instantly locks moisture into your skin and enables a deeper penetration of three key ingredients that we have added. This mask contains Arbutin to brighten, Silk Amino Acids to condition and Centella Asiatica to stimulate collagen production.
Arbutin is more popular in European and Asian beauty products instead of Hydroquinone in the US market. It is a proven ingredient to help improve the appearance of dark spots due to unprotected sun exposure or other factors.
The Silk Amino Acids or Sericin appears in almost all products from TATCHA. It is a great topical antioxidant.
It really does make my skin significantly brighter. A $32 mask is well worth it for a real transformation in terms of skin brightening!
In my opinion, it’s such an excellent product for those who dislike heavy snail secretion or vitamin E in the mask and seeking for a real alternative of hydroquinone!
Maison Margiela Lazy Sunday Morning | Full size $126
This floral fragrance combines notes of lily of the valley, patchouli, iris, and white musk to reproduce a familiar moment, yet hidden memory.
IcanGWP Review: I’m among one of those who don’t have much luck with floral perfumes. There is no more realistically floral perfume out there that is not too sweet like one! It was interesting and intense, a huge glitzy floral scent right out of the bottle. As it dries down it’s an unusual and beautiful harmony of sunny Provence and fresh laundry. I love the feeling, lazy Sunday morning sunlight on the bed with the cat, no emails with a cup of coffee. It is an utterly beautiful scent. Remember not to overdo, it could smell like old people for someone who isn’t keen on floral perfume.
SACHAJUAN Volume Powder | Full size $35, Travel size at Barneys
A powder-based spray that creates volume and provides structure to the hair.
IcanGWP Review: If you can’t stand the feeling of oily locks in the interim, you can freshen them up with this dry shampoo, Barneys gave us two! Sachajuan dry shampoo’s formula is a powder-based, potato starch, that has matte finish. It’s great for a quick, refreshing boost between shampoos. The bottle is a generous size. When shaking the aerosol spray bottle, there is a little metal ball inside mixing ingredients together. Sachajuan dry shampoo has a powdery light scent. But once dried it leaves a bergamot and woody scent. The product is not as perfumed like others. It helps absorb oil and doesn’t leave any grit or white residue on my hair. It leaves more residue on my scalp more than other dry shampoos. Thus, I prefer this product for the side hair, rather than on top. It perfectly cleaned and provided beautiful lively bounce to my fine hair. It accomplishes its goal to freshen up greasy hair and adds a little bit of volume. I like that it holds for a few hours as well. Several hair stylists and beauty bloggers recommend this product. It’s a multitask product for a nice 2-in-1 dry shampoo + hair spray product.

Diptyque Ombre EDT | Full size $65
Poetically named L’Ombre dans l’Eau, “The Shadow in the Water,” it is a fragrance that recalls a lush garden at water’s edge and a brief glimpse of life, captured in the memory of a friend of the three founders.
IcanGWP review: We are all so very different, and interpret fragrances accordingly. These are my thoughts on this Diptyque perfume sample. It has a first note of very sharp, cold (almost astringent), dark, mystical, yet so natural with a hint of rose. Then it becomes a strong green scent. The leaf note is pitched high. All Diptyque scents are unisex. It’s possibly a great summer scent, but it could smell like home fragrance for someone that is not into it.
Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil Review | Full size $25 (available in 7 shades)
IcanGWP review: Kevyn Aucoion provides an excellent range of fragrance free, velvet-finish shade lip pencils. It’s incredibly saturated with color—just one swipe is enough to get full color coverage. The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil is a traditional-style eyeliner pencil. It’s somewhat prone to transferring and bleeding by day’s end.
