I got mine. I was thinking about the first play box and recent boxes. The first few boxes are curated to impress us. I hope this will be a legendary box – not an epic fail box. But it’s $20 anyway. Decision!

I picked one up after I got yesterday’s email. I figure the La Mer sample alone is probably worth more than $20. I figured it would be perfume sample vials, but perfume minis (especially from Tom Ford) would be awesome.

Sephora’s been deleting people comments on the gold play! Rouge only box..There were 80 reviews with 2 star…Now they have bumped it to 4.5….That’s a low move…Altering ratings and comments

Thanks for sharing this info Emma. They probably have a solid filter to take care of it or just their staffs. I’ve read about this. I still like to read comments on their site. But I also read independent opinions like blog, magazine, YouTube. Most importantly I read ingredients before sharing my reviews with you guys. To be fair, nobody received this box yet, right? I can’t resist Sephora limited edition box but it is interesting to see people’s opinions! We r so different that why it is so beautiful and I like to include people’s comments in my reviews. Because I like it but most people don’t and they have good reasons or vice versa and I should share. Thanks again Emma.

I also noticed that reviews were deleted. My thought was that they deleted them because none were actual product reviews since no one has actually received the box yet. I’d be a bit annoyed myself if I skipped buying a product because the reviews were awful, and averaged out to one or two stars as a result of people who really were just complaining about Sephora rewards and having to pay for this bag.
I think pretty much all they deleted was dozens of pages of reviews from entitled millennials who thought Sephora owes it to them to give it out for free. (Really this paragraph I just typed out is about all you’re missing from the deleted reviews.)
