IcanGWP Review: Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream – what an intriguing name! You’re probably thinking “A Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud? What?” when you stare at the cool jar. To use this product – apply twice daily to face and neck with continued use. One other thing that struck me about the gel, besides the name, was how good its ingredient are.
My Thoughts on Ingredients
Anything high percentage or Hyaluronic gets my attention. Concentrated 30% Hyaluronic Acid at this price range is a big feature for me. I really hope it works for my skin. It is a train-wreck problem for me to find a gel-moisturizer that is fragrance free, alcohol free, doesn’t have too much silicone and really is a great formula.
This gel is designed to deeply moisturize with its Hyaluronic acid and Ceramide formula. There are tons of fermented ingredients in it and I like that. I feel like you have to let it sit there in the lab a few months or years. We pay for it and we deserve it.
Both Hyaluronic acid and Ceramide are known and proven to protect the skin’s surface against moisture loss while improving skin’s texture. They are the big two ingredients to help skin be truly soft and hydrated. This product also contains a couple of lightweight silicones. They are gentle ingredients that sooth the skin, form a shield and provide exceptional moisturizing properties.
Is there a single best anti-aging ingredient? The answer is no, there isn’t. The best skincare is like a healthy diet and we are all different. We need a good cocktail of ingredients and using one great skincare ingredient will never serve the complicated needs of our skin. I’m excited to try this cocktail!
Now how do I feel?
I’ve tested this product for the first time in my Sephora Play May Box but … honestly … I accidentally squeezed 3/4 of the product on my face and hair. Good thing I spared my eye. I love it even though I’m so mad at it. Don’t even talk about it.
Its texture incredibly soft like a cloud. It’s in a hall of fame immediately for its softness and texture, you gotta touch it yourself. I like this translucent gel very much. It reminds me of Clinique Pep-start or Clinique Moisture Surge but this is way lighter but somehow denser and far more hydrating than either of them.
The texture of good anti-aging skincare doesn’t need to be heavy, the lighter textures can be just as anti-aging as well. It does feel weightless on your skin and it really locks the moisture in. It absorbs like water, and is not greasy or dewy. The product has no scent.
My combination skin soaks it up and feels moisturized yet not creamy. This product received 4.4 average review at Sephora. No surprise, sensitive, normal, combination, oily or acne-prone skin loves this product whereas dry skin finds this product is not moisturizing enough. If you use rich toner, essence, serum, sunscreen and makeup, give this product a try. You might find the magic of Hyaluronic acid and Ceramide is what your skin is craving.
My skin is super soft and supple. You’ll feel the softness and it will keep progressing. It leaves my skin beautifully quenched and plumped. I can see the visible texture improvements!
My makeup stays well and much less cakey at the end of outdoor days. I don’t need to blot or touch up as usual. A little goes a long way, I only need a little bit of product.
Fragrance free, oil free, alcohol free, paraben free and fragrance oil free is a precious gem for skincare ingredients and this product delivers it so well.
