IcanGWP Review: Rene Furterer Vegetal Texture Spray is a devastatingly beautiful hair styling product. I never ever come across any texture/holding spray that is smell so divine. I also never come across any texture spray that has gotten 5 star reviews from everywhere like this. It’s silicone and sulfate free! I like how easy and natural it looks.

An incredibly innovative serum infused with powerful botanicals and the newest peptides. It helps smooth the appearance of horizontal and vertical lines while working to moisturize and protect against blue light damage.

IcanGWP Review: If you are working in front of computer and worried about blue light side effects on your skin, the Bio Lifting Serum from Chantecaille may be your solution. The fluid-like serum glides on effortlessly and provides instant glow. The Chantecaille’s signature luxe floral scent with a hint of rose hue is subtle and intoxicating. I think it’s a little bit sticky. The soft layer of protectant film stays on the skin overnight and I can feel the product when I do my morning cleanse. This is a great non-silicone serum that is ideal for dehydrated skin. I can’t tell the long term results yet but I adore an overnight smooth and soft skin result. There are so many botanical extracts in this serum here’s a few… According to Chantecaille:

• COCOA PEPTIDES help fight blue light pollution, visibly reducing wrinkle number and volume*

• Algae Tensing Blend forms an in invisible flexible film on skin for instant skin tightening smoothing effect*

I’m really surprised that the ingredients of Chantecaille skincare are so distinctive. If you have tried some other products from the brands, they keep updated and formulated brand new skincare all over, so do give it a try. One caveat, I wish that the amount of preservatives was a little lower but it’s the safer ones anyway.

Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto in 202 Fearless Pink review | Full size $37

Le Rose Perfecto is a couture 3-in-1 color balm for deeply cared, fuller-looking and vibrantly colored lips. Its hybrid texture combines the best of color and care. Enriched with shea butter and pink pepper extract, Le Rose Perfecto intensely envelops lips with a comfortable care sensation and plumps them instantly.

IcanGWP Review: If you are looking for a handbag essential lip balm that won’t compromise the formula, you will be excited with this Givenchy lip balm launched earlier this year. Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto package and product feels super chic and sleek. It has one of the highest quality lip conditionings. According to Givenchy, Enriched with shea butter and pink pepper extract, le Rose Perfecto intensely envelops lips with a comfortable care sensation and plumps them instantly. Hyaluronic acid spheres: Smoothe and plump lips immediately while preserving the skin’s natural hydration.

While most ingredients are synthetic, it is a rare high-performance lip balm formula. There are loads of antioxidants, skin-soothing, emollient and fatty acids that will help improve dry lips. There is a little bit of skin scrubbing agent and a skin plumbing ingredient.

The high-end lipstick has divine sweet rose scent with a bit of a minty flavor. Application is easy and pigment is very buildable. The texture is not balmy nor waxy like typical lip balm. So there’s no obvious glossy finish on the lips. After applying a few coats, my lips look essentially fuller and the formula concealed any lines, flakes or dryness. The vibrant pigment will look exquisite on anyone’s lips. The fearless pink shade from Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto is a sweet pink with warm undertones. It appears much less pink than you can see from the case. It has almost matte finish with a nice luminosity. The formula is very conditioning and long lasting – almost like lip stain. I highly recommend it if you are looking for grown-up winter lip balm that is very moisturizing and won’t worsen your chapped lips.

SISLEY-PARIS Double Tenseur Instant & Long-Term | Full size $192

Powerful lifting and priming skin care with botanical extracts for immediate and long-term effective visible results. A moisturizing and ultra-sensorial fresh gel with a “second skin” lifting and priming effect for both immediate and long term results.

IcanGWP Review: Sisley Paris introduces the last step in our skincare regimen to add both instant and long term results by this Double Tenseur! Sisley instructs to use this fluid over our skincare or touch-up any time during the day. It’s like a facial mist but easier to apply on spot to add immediate radiance. I really like the texture that is like micellar water but a little more spreadable, for an all-around glow.

Serge Lutens Parfums La Fille De Berlin | Full size $150  – $230

Serge Lutens Parfums’ La Fille De Berlin is a fragrance inspired by a girl that goes to extremes but also soothes. This scent features notes of rose and pepper.

IcanGWP Review: Serge Lutens created some of the most unique and stunning notes in fragrances in the beauty industry. Lutens founded his Parisian-based niche perfume house in 2000. Have you tried the infamous unusual Serge Lutens Parfums like Chergui? Barneys has over 60 Serge Lutens Parfums to choose from.

The red perfume La Fille De Berlin from Serge Lutens has great rose flower scent (it may stain your clothes). La Fille De Berlin is unisex and is launched in 2013. This fragrance, ‘The Girl from Berlin’ in English, has complex notes of rose, geranium, patchouli, honey and black pepper. It opens full throttle. I recommend using it gently, a light spritz. It’s a rich, beautiful full bloom red roses plus a fainted geranium — great silage.

The middle note is Palmarosa which sounds like rose but it’s an Indian grass that is used for sweet rose-like perfume. Base note: patchouli, moss and honey. It’s pretty unique rose that has a little cold, peppery, grassy, and sweet background without being overpowering. It is not a mainstream scent. It’s not classy and not typical like florals + musk, wood, ocean or berry. This is a signature type perfume.

Frédéric Malle Carnal Flower Eau De Parfum | Full size $195 – $390

Frédéric Malle’s Carnal Flower eau de parfum is a sweet, spicy scent infused with notes of melon, tuberose, and musk. Developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion, this fragrance contains the highest concentration of natural tuberose in the perfume industry. Developed by Dominique Ropion. Top notes: melon, vegetal notes, tuberose (fresh aspect). Base notes: tuberose (milky aspect), musk.

Notes: green aquatic, ylang-ylang, jasmine absolute, orange blossom absolute, tuberose absolute, coconut, white musks cocktail

IcanGWP Review: This Carnal Flower has an interesting crisp dark mood to it as you can see from the Frederic Malle perfum chart. I haven’t had a chance to try ROBERT PIGUET Fracas which is a well-known tuberose yet but I adore Diptyque Do Son. It opens with tuberose, has a white flower hit with soft green in it. Carnal Flower then reveals the darker crisp notes from ylang-ylang, jasmine and Salicylates (it’s a toxic created by the plant!). What’s left is the smooth, milky and creamy tuberose with orange blossom absolute, coconut and white musk. It’s a quality fragrance. The silage is not overpowering for me. It will stay overnight but not all the fresh notes. I like the dark poisonous tuberose which is crisp like you are walking outside on a bright sunny summer day. All the notes are working together beautifully and nothing dominates. It’s edgeless. Carnal Flower is a true masterpiece from Dominique Ropion. If you are wondering about Carnal Flower’s popularity, this Barneys Love Yourself gift bag provides a generous size for us to feel the bloom on our skin.

Verdict

The Barneys Love Yourself Women’s Gift Bag is unquestionably one of my very favorite US beauty gift bags. Instead of creating a gift bag full of best sellers, repeat samples, Barneys always takes a risk and spoils us with alternative beauty. They somehow know we haven’t had a chance to buy these items but they really know we’ll fall for it!

It’s great if we want to avoid making the full investment, this is a nice opportunity. I tested so many of Barney’s curated items in the bag within the last few days. My skin is so incredibly luminous, smooth and plumped. My hair looks like a salon quality and I smell quite extraordinary too 😊
